Peter Lloyd-Jones British , b. 1956

Overview

Peter studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art and then as a post graduate at the Royal Academy. Thereafter his work has been exhibited regularly in England and overseas and received favourable critical reviews and numerous awards. His work is held in public collections including Hambros Bank, the National Trust Foundation for art and Oriel College Oxford. He now lives and works from his home in Gloucestershire. The rare quality of his work is well put into words by this elegant quote from Peter Greenham RA:

“Peter Lloyd-Jones is one of those rare artists in whose pictures the most exacting observation leads not to an inventory of facts, but to something which fires the imagination.”
